Job Description

Responsibilities

• · Identify and pursue new market opportunities to expand the butchery's customer base
• · Source for prospective clients such as supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, catering companies, and other hospitality/retail businesses through cold calling, referrals, networking, field visits, and digital platforms
• · Develop and implement strategies to penetrate new markets and territories
• · Achieve monthly sales and business development targets
• · Generate leads, qualify prospects, and convert them into active customers
• · Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and competitor activities
• · Build and maintain a robust pipeline of prospective clients
• · Follow up rigorously with prospective and existing clients to close deals and generate repeat business
• · Sell meat, poultry, and other frozen foods in kilograms while explaining product features, benefits, pricing, and promotions to potential clients

• · DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
• FMCG, 5-star restaurant, butchery, frozen foods, or retail sales environment
• · MUST HAVE: Proven experience selling to supermarkets, restaurants, hotels, and similar businesses
• · Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets
• · Strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills
• · Proven ability to sell, persuade, and close deals effectively
• · Strong drive for results and business growth
• ·Existing network within the hospitality and retail sector is an added advantage
